The Your Role in Prevention Luncheon is Prevention Action Alliance’s annual signature event which draws awareness to the role everyone in society plays in preventing substance misuse and promoting mental health wellness. The luncheon is designed for corporate and community leaders, providing them an opportunity to learn about and support prevention and mental health wellness.
At this event, PAA honors individuals in Ohio who have made significant contributions to prevention and mental health by awarding the Stick Your Neck Out for Prevention Award. Recognizing the challenging work and dedication through the analogy of a giraffe’s long neck, symbolizing the willingness to “stick out their necks” to make a positive difference.
