Empower Ohio Teens to Lead Change
The Ohio Youth-Led Prevention Network (OYLPN) empowers young people across our state to lead the charge in substance misuse prevention, mental health promotion, and positive peer influence. Through leadership, education, and peer-to-peer messaging, these adolescents are creating healthier communities not just for themselves, but for all Ohio youth.

The OYLPN Youth Council, made up of students in grades 9–12, identifies pressing issues affecting their peers and develops meaningful campaigns to create real community change. From organizing statewide initiatives to leading peer education efforts, council members gain critical leadership skills while promoting healthy choices and reducing the stigma around substance use and mental health.
Your donation directly supports these young leaders as they:
• Champion policies that strengthen youth mental health at both the state and national levels.
• Lead workshops and presentations to reduce stigma and inspire youth-led prevention and advocacy across local, regional, and state audiences.
• Promote mental wellness and resilience among peers through awareness campaigns and positive engagement.
• Develop and host a youth-driven podcast series highlighting real conversations and practical insights on mental health.
• Engage in state and national leadership conferences and trainings to build skills, share experiences, and amplify youth voices in prevention.

Join us in supporting youth leaders as they break down mental health stigma and advocate for change.
