We are thrilled by the incredible response from youth and youth-serving organizations across Ohio who want to participate and meet with their elected officials. At this time, the event has reached capacity—but we are actively working to secure additional space so that more young people can join us.
Please add your name to the waitlist below. If space becomes available, we will contact you with next steps. If we are unable to expand capacity, you will still receive updates about similar opportunities to engage in advocacy and leadership with OYLPN.
We deeply appreciate your enthusiasm and commitment to youth advocacy, and we hope to connect with you—whether at this event or at one to come.ABOUT THE EVENTThis in-person event brings youth and their adult allies together to elevate youth voices in state policy and civic engagement to advance prevention, mental health wellness, and stigma reduction.Participants will begin the day with an engaging speaker, then head to the Statehouse for scheduled meetings with their elected officials. Youth will attend alongside adult allies, and organizations that support youth are also welcome to participate. Throughout the day, participants will have opportunities to connect with one another, share ideas, and build relationships while learning how youth and community voices can shape real policy change.
